Now Hiring: Metal Polisher / Finisher – Huntington Beach, CA

Join a leading manufacturer of high-end hardware products in Huntington Beach. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Polisher / Finisher to support our finishing and polishing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a long-term opportunity with a company committed to craftsmanship and quality.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday | 5:15 AM – 2:15 PM
• Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sandblasting using high-pressure air equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces, including brass and other alloys
• Operate polishing lathe machines to smooth, satin, or polish metal surfaces, correcting defects and achieving desired finishes
• Apply metal plating and living finishes using chemical solutions, racking, dipping, rinsing, drying, waxing, and cleaning
• Utilize burnishing machines for processing living finishes (note: exposure to nut shells required)
• Conduct electro-stripping by racking and dipping parts in electrically charged chemical baths to remove chrome layers
• Perform peeling/unwrapping of parts in preparation for finishing and verify parts against production order forms
• Use bar code scanners and ERP software to update inventory and production tracking
• Ensure all finished parts meet quality specifications through visual inspection
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in metal polishing is required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Dependability, persistence, and accuracy in a production environment
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently
• Willingness to work overtime when required
