Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing Manager who is equal parts strategist, creator, and executor. This role requires someone who is not only organized and detail-oriented but also imaginative and bold—a true marketing “unicorn” who can bring both vision and hands-on execution to the table.
The Marketing Manager will oversee all aspects of marketing initiatives, including but not limited to branding, design, social media, digital campaigns, website management, print collateral, content creation, and event support. They will be responsible for balancing high-level strategy with roll-up-your-sleeves execution, ensuring consistency, creativity, and measurable impact across all channels.
In this role, the Marketing Manager will drive the growth and development of both in-house brands and licensed partner brands produced under our roof. They will craft and unify a cohesive vision, voice, and identity that elevates our market presence, strengthens brand equity, and delivers added value to our partners.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Creative & Design Ownership
  • Serve as the lead designer for core marketing assets, including digital ads, social graphics, packaging mockups, print collateral, event signage, and promotional materials.
  • Develop original concepts and creative campaigns that bring the brand’s voice and vision to life.
  • Oversee and refine creative work, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage file preparation and vendor coordination for print, packaging, and large-format graphics.
  • Produce and edit visual content for social and digital platforms, including light video editing.

     
Campaign Execution & Management
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for all marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee content creation and distribution across social media, email, website, and digital channels.
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with revenue goals.
  • Use design to visually enhance campaigns, improving engagement and recall.

     
Event & Brand Activation Support
  • Design and oversee creative production for retail appreciation days, trade shows, and local brand activations.
  • Ensure booth layouts, signage, and promotional items are designed, delivered, and executed on time.
  • Coordinate logistics with teams to ensure flawless activations.

     
Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and analyze campaign KPIs, preparing visual reports and dashboards for leadership.
  • Use data insights to refine creative direction and campaign strategies.

     
Compliance & Industry Awareness
  • Ensure all marketing materials and activities meet cannabis advertising regulations.
  • Stay current on design trends, competitor creative, and evolving marketing tools .

     
Environment and Physical Requirements

Qualifications
  • 21 years of age, or older.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Missouri Agent Card.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally in cannabis, CPG, or another regulated industry.
  • Portfolio of design work demonstrating proficiency in brand development, digital content, and print materials.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere/After Effects); or other design tools a plus.
  • Strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring.
  • Project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and social media management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
